Newcastle city centre is twenty minutes away by car and train, Gateshead is fifteen minutes away. South Shields is part of the frequent and rapid Tyne and Wear Metro (train) system, linking Gateshead, Newcastle, North Shields, South Shields, Sunderland and Tynemouth. We are just a few minutes walk from South Shields Metro station, South Shields bus station and the South Shields ferry terminal. Fluent in British Sign Language (BSL).
