The town center is within easy reach on foot or by taxi. Kastraki is a residential area that is being undergoing a rejuvenation process in the past few years, with many houses and public areas restored to their 19th century grandeur, turning it into an area of major architectural interest. The main bar and breakfast area is on the ground floor. The original stone and wood features of the house are visible and create a warm atmosphere, where guests can enjoy their breakfast, coffee or refreshment. It is a 19th century grade listed rural townhouse, completely restored its original glory and beyond in 2007. All the original elements such as stone masonry walls, wooden beams and the terra-cotta roof are preserved. The lobby is small and decorated with various traditional handicraft items, and a corridor leads to the main bar. The family who owns the traditional house will welcome you in a variety of European languages.
