Each room is en-suite. Our restaurants - The Wilton and the George Dolby - have a long and enviable reputation for fine food and wine. The Castle Lodge Hotel is located (± a few yards) 1 mile from the centre of Ross-on-Wye just off the Wilton roundabout at the junction of the A40 (M50) and Wilton Road at Wilton near Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. There are 'put up' beds for older children and if you have a baby or a small child you are welcome to bring a travel cot with you. Regretfully your pet cannot be accommodated. Castle Lodge was once the residence of George Dolby the manager and proofreader of Charles Dickens. The latter spent a weekend here in January 1869 whilst planning his celebrated tour of America.
