"The Barenhaus" ("The Bearhouse") is a very romantic, upmarket little Country Inn located in one of Germany's most beautiful areas, the "Lueneburger Heide" with Hannover (Hannover Messe and CEBIT) and Hamburg also close-by. Our warm and personal service makes business-travellers, families and vacationers alike feel right at home with us. The seven spacious,luxurious rooms are distinctly furnished in the best of English country house style to create a "home away from home". Beautiful fabrics, lovely antiques, comfy sofas, canopied beds and lots of creature comforts such as fridge (no poky mini-bars!), satellite-TV, radio, CD-player, DVD-player (on demand, free of charge), micro-wave (on-demand, free of charge), books, magazines, hair-dryer, hot-water-bottles, tea- and coffeemaking facilites, umbrellas and, of course, a teddy on the bed. There is one family-suite available (up to five guests) and one room with a woodburning stove. A laundry with washer and dryer is at the guests' disposal. "Das Barenhaus" is too small for a restaurant but right opposite you will find Bergen's best place to eat and there are several more just a short stroll away. A delicious breakfast-buffet is served and included in the room-rate. There is lots to do and see in the area with the two gorgeous medieval towns of Celle and Lueneburg, the "Heide Park", several nature- and wildlife parks and VW-Autostadt. We also have two golf-courses and a superb thermal pool (hot salt springs) with a great spa close-by. Business hours of reception: Every day: from 06:00 to 23:00 .
