The direct mail marketing firm started only eight years ago and although Gendusa claims it was tough at times, the woman entrepreneur managed to expand her firm into a multi-million-dollar enterprise rapidly with no capital injections in a male dominated industry.
Despite Florida’s home sales, retail sales and domestic immigration declining, Gendusa says she is determined to succeed. Her firm, which prints 4 million and mails 2 million postcards representing over 350 business, finance and industrial clients each week, has been expanding its revenue every year since it started and creating more jobs for the Tampa Bay area.
The motif behind her new headquarters is to inspire her employees and create for them a home away from home. Some of the home-like amenities include a gym, nursery, lounge areas and a health-food cafeteria. The overall design is intended to give the people of Postcard Mania a fun, creative and high energy workplace that is highly motivating.
