This reasonably priced Ostend hotel is well located on the city’s main square, the Wapenplein, and within walking distance of the beach called the Klein Strand. The Hotel Ambassadeur is a cosy, old-fashioned hotel that was fully renovated in March of 2011. Its facilities include a well-equipped meeting room and a sauna. The hotel restaurant, called Arno’s Cafe, specializes in fresh seafood; in warm weather, patrons can dine at outdoor tables and watch pedestrians strolling through the square. Wi-Fi internet access is free both in guest rooms and in the hotel’s public areas.
