By the end of the 19th century, during an extensive reconstruction, the Gotzenburg fortress obtained its present structure. For more than 40 years the hotel and restaurant has offered its guests the possibility to experience history from close proximity. Half-timbered apartments and rooms surrounded by a beautiful park and with a pretty view of the Jagst river offer you rest and recreation. The former estate building was renovated in 2004. Under the direction of Baroness Birgit von Berlichingen it was converted into a stylish and comfortable building, a true jewel protected by the fortress walls. Gotzenburg Castle offers you an exclusive setting for meetings, seminars and presentations. Choose between 2 conference rooms: the North Tower for a maximum of 40 participants or the East Tower for a maximum of 30 participants. If more space is required, then the Rittersaal (“Knight’s Hall”) can be converted into an impressive and large conference hall.
