The superb complex El Montanya Resort & Spa is located in Seva, in El Montseny National Park. The peaks in the national park reach a height of 17,372 m above sea level, and it stretches from the La Calma plateau to the heights of El Matagalls and Les Agudes. This national park is considered as interesting from a scientific point of view as it is in terms of landscape. The hotel lies only 52 km from Barcelona and 15 km from Vic. Barcelona International Airport is around 70 km away. Ideally located in the surroundings of El Montseny National Park, the El Montanya Resort & Spa was created with the aim of providing the perfect balance between the peace and quiet of nature and the latest in services, which the hotel is proud to have achieved. This family-friendly club resort was renovated in 2007 and comprises a total of 240 rooms including 27 apartments. Currently, this resort offers a wide range of facilities allowing guests to enjoy the best possible services, including a children's play area, garden grounds, a lecture hall, a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, air conditioning, lift access, a bar and a restaurant. Guests may also take advantage of the conference facilities, the laundry service and parking. The rooms come with a private en suite bathroom with a bathtub, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV and Internet access. There is also an 18-hole golf course a 5-minute drive away at Golf Osona Montanya. How to get there: Guests arriving at Barcelona's El Prat Airport should take the ring road Ronda Litoral or Ronda de Dalt, then the AP7 motorway towards Girona. Take Exit 2 for Vic/Puigcerd, and then the C17 towards Vic. Turn off for Aiguafreda, and continue towards the El Montanya development area.
