This lovely, family-run hotel, where the writer George Sand is believed to have found refuge during her trips, offers a historical environment and an excellent base for exploring this enchanting city at great value for money. 1107VG This historical building still looks very much like the original 15th century coaching inn. The restaurant is probably one of the best features of the hotel. Beside offering fine and delicious French traditional cuisine, it also has a terrace with an unrivalled and spectacular view on the banks of the river Indre.
