Montfoort is close to the city of Utrecht and is a good starting point for a day trip to Rotterdam or Den Haag (The Hague). The authentic 3-star Hotel Montfoort consists of a front and a back part of the house, which are connected by a patio. Both parts of the building have been renovated in 2007. The authentic character of this premesis has been kept intact in the process. Hotel Montfoort LocationMontfoort is an historic city close to Utrecht. In the city guests can still visit castle Montfoort, the 'Commanderij' (chivalric estate), and the old city hall. From the hotel guests can take a nice walk or bike ride through the surroundings. Going through the nature area 'Het Groene Hart,' for example, guests can pay a visit to the small picturesque city of Oudewater, with its preserved monumental townscape. Guests can also go even further and reach the lake 'De Reeuwijkse Plassen.'OtherBreakfast is served in the breakfastroom, from 7 am. The hotel does not have its own restaurant. The hotel does not have a 24-hr reception. Check in until 20 pm. Later arrivals need to contact the hotel beforehand. Check-in will then occur using the night check-in system, for which guests are given a code for the key-card. In our suite or luxury room 1 child up to 3 years old can stay for free in their parents' room. Cot is available on request. Older children guests require to book an extra room.
