Built in 1911, Villa Magnolia was an elegant private home distinguished by its timbered facade and stained glass windows. A breakfast buffet is served each morning in the winter garden. Villa Magnolia is located in the village of Oostkapelle, a short distance from the beautiful beaches of the Walcheren coast. The neighbouring town of Domburg has been a popular seaside resort since the 1800s. Local attractions include Westhove Castle, which houses the Terra Maris nature and landscape museum; the 1567 Domburg City Hall; the turn-of-the-century bathing pavilion in Domburg; and the Domburg Golf Club. Domburg is on the E9 European long distance path, also called the European Coastal Path. The whole area is excellent for cycling and walking. From Villa Magnolia it’s 12.6 km/7.8 miles to the city of Middelburg.
