Superbly located on Milopotas Beach on Ios island. There are a number of tavernas and shops within walking distance and the town is nearby. Local buses run between the port - town and Milopotas Beach all day making getting arund this small island easy. Ios island is just half an hour from Santorini by boat making it an ideal add on to any visit of the Cycladic islands. The hotel offers 2 swimming pools for guests. There is also a great selection of entertainment including a billiards room, table tennis, home cinema and a video games room. There is also free wireless internet. Always a plus in a hotel spread out over several levels on a hill is a lift. This hotel has two of them. Currently, the best hotel on the island. The hotel is spread over several levels on a gentle hill which runs down to the beach. From most angles of the hotel, there are stunning views of the bay. The lobby is decorated in whites and creams giving it a light and soothing feel. Seating is available. The main restaurant is located on the lower level just above the beach. It offers elegant outdoor dining with a great selection of food and drinks. There are 2 bars to choose from, one by the pool which also serves snacks during the day and one on the upper level of the hotel. A Greek night is also run once a week. The superior rooms are a fairly large at 26-30 sqm and decorated in a light and airy, fairly minimalist style with elegant furniture giving them a very contemporary look. They feature a king sized double bed (or twins). The marble bathrooms are very well maintained and have bathtubs. Superior rooms are situated on the upper floors giving amazing views of the sea from their balconies. 2 kms to city centre, 30 kms to the nearest airport (santorini), 30 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, Close to the beach.
