ANUA TERA ecolodge hotel is located in New Caledonia's Great South, just 1. 5 a hrs drive from the capital Noumea. It is located in the sheltered bay of Port Boise, the southernmost port of call for boats heading out to the islands. This small boutique Ecolodge is designed in a traditional Melanesian village style and the property blends harmoniously into the natural setting. Ideally located near the UNESCO World Heritage listed Merlet marine reserve, the Prony Needle, Parc de la Riviere Bleue nature reserve and the Prony hot water springs, tours can be booked locally. The materials used are wood, straw roof and masonry framework which gives this lovely 43 sqm bungalow. All bungalows are located on the seafront with individual terraces overlooking the magnificent Port Boise Bay. The rooms offer Flat-screen TV with French & English satellite channels, ceiling fans, fridge, electric kettle and private safes. The bathrooms have spacious showers and separate toilet. The hotel reception is open from 6am to 10pm. The hotels restaurant is also Melanesian style and offers local gourmet fare. The restaurant as a seating capacity of up to 140 people and has peaceful views over the lagoon. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cocktail overlooking the Sunset. 120 kms to city centre, 160 kms to the nearest airport (tontouta).
