Purchased by a Dutch couple, it has been renovated and enlarged over the decades to serve first as a boarding house and then as 4-star hotel, run by their descendants. Today guests can enjoy wandering the hotel’s 2 hectares/5 acres of landscaped gardens, swimming in the indoor pool, relaxing in the sauna, or lying in the sun in the solarium. Among the other hotel amenities are a homely library and an all-weather tennis court.
