There are two towns named Playa Hermosa in Costa Rica, one is located in the province of Puntarenas, while the other lies in Guanacaste. Las Brisas Resort and Villas is in the province of Puntarenas and situated 5 km south of Jaco, one of the surfing and sport fishing havens in the country. It lies 10 minutes drive from the beach town of Jaco and a short drive from the capital, San Jose. Playa Hermosa offers several outdoor activities and tours. It also holds the international surf tournament every year in August. There are 8 Junior suites and 3 fully equipped 3 bedroom and 2 bath vacation villas on the property.
