Liberation from Compulsive Eating

http://www.compulsive.ws

One needs great effort to cease the uncontrollable desire for food. Considering that, develop your fighting skills to beat compulsive actions. This fight is for freedom; refuse to fail. You can feel intense emotions and resolve not to give in. Order yourself, "I refuse to surrender. I will not budge. I refuse to be defeated." During the emotional windstorms caused by enticement, question yourself, what do I really desire? Eating to unwind is not your goal. What you really need is to be at ease. Eating out of anger is not what you want. What you want is to resolve the issue. You do not want to eat simply because you are afraid. What you really want is the strength to address it. You do not want to eat because you are bored. What you desire is, an objective that will initiate excitement within you. Avoid fighting with obsessive thoughts, but deflect them into positive thoughts and activities. Use mini-breaks to change your mood and break cycles of obsessive thinking. Find a little time to do something you enjoy until the emotions ebb. Sing a song, get some fresh air, go for a stroll, or take a relaxing bath. Not only will you be overcoming obsessive thoughts, but upgrading your life. Do not surrender; everytime you do, the pleasure will create a craving to repeat it. Remind yourself that junk food is fake pleasure. If you do not nurture a craving, it will end. If you become anxious, slowly take a deep breath, hold it for a moment, and then release, think peace. Create the feeling of revulsion until you are nauseated: screeching wheels in a sudden stop, or hair floating in your soup, Imagine an image that works best for you. Use negative labeling. Junk food is solid forms of fat and cholesterol. Build your own negative tags for the foods you are moving away from. Play the mental tape to the end; look at the big picture. Do not concentrate just on the pleasure, but focus on all of the negative consequences. When you focus yourself, you feel as though something was taken away, and feel cheated. Battle that emotion with the truth that you have what it takes to be happy. Question the feeling of loss. Remember the bad qualities of junk food. Refuse to eat them. Avoid triggers like donut stores and bakeries. Avoid hanging around unnecesarily in the kitchen or the dining room when you feel the urge to eat. Schedule when to eat your meals. Have fruits or vegetables snacks ready. The first few days can be the toughest. If you feel weak and not ready, it will be hard to control your thoughts. Managing direction requires work, and toxic feelings lead to an reckless self-destructive feeling. It will pass once the blood clears of toxins Give it your best amidst these periods to remain steadfast.
