Miya Rikyu is located near Itsukushima Shrine, a symbol on the Miyajima Island. The shrine was built over the bay anf the grand Torii gate of the shrine appears floating in the water. Miyajima was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996 and known as one of Japan's Scenic Trio. Miya Rikyu has 67 rooms in total.
