The hotel is very traditional as it is set in the grouds of a country estate and part of an old Castle. The breakfast room is located in a lovely bright, whitewashed room which was formerly a dairy. For snacks, the bar has a small menu. For group meals and formal events, meals can be reserved in the beautiful castle that is located in the hotels grounds and which is one of the most beautiful venues in Holland. The lobby is small with limited seating. The rooms are modern and decorated in yellows and blue. They are large in size and offer all the amenities one would expect from a 4 star hotel. They are in a good condition and each room either has a balcony or terrace. 1 kms to city centre, 35 kms to the nearest airport (schiphol), 6 km to the nearest station (castricum).
