It is surrounded by one of the oldest and most beautiful English parks in this region. You can take a walk through the romantic alleys, among the ponds and old trees and enjoy a wonderful view at the Karkonosze Mountains with Sniezka (the highest peak – 1602 m above sea level). The Hotel Palace Staniszow is an excellent base to visit winter resorts such as Karpacz and Szklarska Poreba, historic town of Jelenia Gora or Lower Silesia Monuments’ Miniatures Park in Kowary. The Palace of Staniszow contains 34 double rooms (that can be used as single rooms) including 6 suites. Each of the rooms has unique decor which is adapted to the character of every following month (1st floor) or sign of the zodiac (2nd floor) or colour (Bachelor’s House). The miscellaneous way of decorating the interiors will enable you to find your favourite room regardless of the season or your zodiacal sympathies. Diligently selected components of our menu offer the best dishes of European cuisine served in the historic interiors of restaurant or rose terrace in summer. In cosy rooms of bar and cafe you will find yourself relaxed taking a sip of afternoon coffee and a bite of delicious homemade cake. Perfectly equipped wine cellars and bar will satisfy even the most fastidious wine, liquor and cigar gourmets. A late baroque, two-storey structure of rectangular footprint was built at the end of the eighteenth century on the earl Heinrich XXXVIII von Reuss initiative. The park and forests occupied an area of 194 ha. In the middle of the nineteenth century two wings were built on to the main building. The extension parts descend on to the French garden, the closing of which is made up by a classical “Bachelor House” crowned with a small belfry tower and a clock. All of that changed the palace and park into the most favourite place for trips for the villagers, the Palace’s guests and tourists who are staying in the area.
