The busy Victorian town Teignmouth can be reached by the famous passenger ferry where you will find a main line station to London Waterloo and Penzance. Shaldon has many places to wine dine, ODE an award winning wine restaurant, Clifford Arms Jazz Cafe, London Inn wholesome food, The Tide fish restaurant at the Ferry Boat Inn, Beach Coomber Italian Bistro and the Ness Hotel with its fine restaurant - all come highly recommended.
