The Sala Phuket Resort and Spa is located on pristine Mai Khao Beach on Phuket's northwest shoreline, just 10 minutes from Phuket International Airport and the famous Blue Canyon Golf Course, and only 15 minutes away from picturesque Phang Nga Bay. Phuket town is a 30-minute drive away. This stunning new deluxe pool villa resort opened in 2006. It combines rare historical Sino-Portuguese architecture and design (indigenous to Phuket, Thailand) with modern facilities and resort amenities. It has a lobby with 24-hour reception, hotel safe and currency exchange facility. A hairdresser's salon features as do room and laundry services, a world-class international beachfront restaurant and bar, lobby bar and gift shop. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car. There is a library located in the lobby; this serene area is ideal for reading, relaxing or simply resting. Complimentary laptops with wireless internet connections are provided in the guest lounge. The resort features private swimming pools in 63 out of the 79 rooms, villas and suites.
