The Chequers Country Inne was originally a farm house in George III's reign and has genuine oak beams and slate and granite floors. It is a beautiful traditional Pub, Restaurant Hotel set in the heart of the South Leicestershire countryside. We serve real ales, traditional home cooked locally sourced food and have a fantastic terrace for those lazy, sunny afternoons.
