Our self catering cottage sleeps 4/5 people and offers holiday accommodation to an excellent standard. The property also offers accommodation for mobility impaired guests. Our cosy self catering cottage has been sympathetically converted from the original eighteenth century farmhouse and commands spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Grindon sits within 600 acres of farmland and we have a small flock of coloured Ryeland sheep. Red squirrels inhabit our woods and our rural location attracts a wide range of birdlife. We are 4 miles from our local village of Haydon Bridge and its shops and inns, 11 miles away from the beautiful historic town of Hexham and within an hour of the vibrant city of Newcastle upon Tyne.
