Recent Business ArticlesThe Silent Laws Of Success.
http://clean4profit.comHere are the keys to effective strategy that can unlock greater success for you. These are the silent laws that are fundamental to your success throughout all the years of your life . . . as they guide you upward and onward to higher achievements.
1.The law of control.
You must be in control in every situation and at every moment. The fact is; either you are
controlling the condition or someone else is in control. Because you are being bombarded constantly by influential forces that threaten your way of life you cannot afford to let your guard down. These are forces that influence our way of thinking and how we react to any process. How well you are able to grasp control and stay in control of external stimulations indicates how perceptive you are.
In every circumstance, someone has to take control. No action can exist without someone
assuming the position of overseer. You have to take responsibility and become the driving force behind the mission. In the mind of others, it is your insight, your grasp of the situation, that becomes the motivation for achievement.
Are you in control of the forces that effect you? When dramatic changes come in your life,
analyze the situation and be aware of the possibilities before making a decision. Stay in control, it’s your destiny. Don’t let someone else plot your destiny for you.
2.The law of observance
Always observe what is going on around you, pay attention, be aware of the
possibilities. Take note of what is not happening as well as what is. Don’t make rash judgments; be sure before you act.
John Hanson was a shift supervisor in a textile mill. He noticed the manager had become discontented because of personal problems. John ask the manager if there was anything he could do to alleviate his discontentment. The manager thanked him for his concern and honesty. Soon the manager resigned from the company but before he went he recommended to the owners that John take his place as manager. The owners honored the managers request and promoted John to manager.
3.The law of value.
As a leader/manager, how valuable are you to your employer? If there were a lay-off today, would you be let go, or be kept on? Make sure you know your job plus a little more. Always do your best and volunteer once in a while. In today’s workplace, the more you know the more secure you are. Do what it takes to be valuable to your employer
4.The law of integrity
Certain qualities of character are unique to a true leader.. A true leader can be trusted for his/her word is as good as gold. You can take what he/she says to the bank because you know they stand behind it.
It seems trusted employees have become a rarity in today’s workplace. From padding the time sheet to small pilferage, everyone seems to be out for themselves. People get the idea the company owes them over and beyond their agreed on salaries. They justify their actions by their own distorted reasoning.
Integrity is the heart of a man/woman. It represents quality, honesty, high morals, truth, and trust. It is the only quality in a person that a they have to voluntarily give up. No one can take it from you, you have to make a choice to damage your own integrity. Once you have given up your integrity, you can never get it back. Integrity is inborn because it comes from God.
“Ge 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:.”
What a high privilege was bestowed on mankind, and yet, man gives it up for nothing.
What value do you place upon your integrity?
5.The law of Development
Most everyone desires to be the best at what they do but few accomplish it. Why? Distractions, loss of drive, complacency, and many other things undermine man’s ability to achieve. Even though man is born of excellence, he/she rapidly becomes victim to worldly points of view. I can is replaced with I can’t, I will is replaced I won’t and so on. The trials of life creates despair in the mind and clouds thinking. The world becomes a battleground for the senses causing a distorted perception. The world point of view, is captivating and self destructive.
The mind thinks it can’t be any better than it already is, yet we know the laws of development can and does elevate a person from failure to success. Success is a God trait inherent in mankind while failure is embracing the inconsistencies of the world order. Man, in his own right, can be anything he desires to be. From Janitor to President, man is what he aspires to be, what he/she has a passion for. You must elevate yourself above the temptations of the world. Be diligent, forthright and mature in your thinking, and always remember, each thought can potentially effect your quality of existence.
6.The law of Adaptability
Many people simply can’t adapt to current conditions. When a person requires supervision to perform basic abilities they rarely further their career. You must adapt to your surroundings. You have to fit in and become a Inspiration to those around you. Every situation in life requires you to adapt in some form or manner. Family, church, workplace, society, club all require you to adapt to the current conditions. I don’t mean give in, or cave in, but consider the options and adjust to the presented opportunity. Fit in, take part in your surroundings, be active as a team player.
7.The law of Statistics
Those who are short sighted and can’t see the potential in their situation, rapidly become a statistic. They are the ones that shuffle in the front door and out the back. Attitude and lack of conformity doom them to become another has-been on the roles of accomplishment. The pink slip awaits those who never get involved.
8.The law of recognition
Do something so people will remember you. If it’s your doctor, boss or anyone you want to be remembered by, give them a personal gift. Something special you made, just for them. Every time they see that special gift, they will remember you and when you come into their presence, they will remember who you are. You have developed a closeness, a relationship beyond the traditional boundaries. I make canes, and I make a unique cane especially to give to those who I want to be remembered by. They appreciate the gesture and they remember me the next time I need their services. They open up, to a deeper connection and more meaningful relationship.
9.The law of Manipulation
Many people go through life manipulating others for their own gain. Manipulation is a deceptive act and as such is destructive in nature. People manipulate each other without realizing it. It’s a form of getting one’s own way. Coming out on top, so to speak. A child sulks, a spouse gives the silent treatment, a boss threatens, all are ways to control a particular situation. Girls manipulate boys because they know they can. Boys manipulate girls for dominance. Husbands manipulate wives because they need to be the leader. Wives manipulate husbands because they need position. Everyone is manipulating someone to sustain their own uniqueness.
