The Stafford Hotel has an air of timelessness, the feel of a luxury country house with a central London location. One of a handful of London hotels to achieve AA Red Star status, The Stafford is quietly lavish whilst being warm and welcoming with period furnishings and antique pieces adorning both bedrooms and public areas. The hotel opened in 1912, although parts of it are almost 400 years old. There were major renovation works in 2007, and the hotel has 105 rooms, including 38 suites, spread over 6 floors. Great food and wines play a large part in any stay at The Stafford. Whether guests choose to visit the Restaurant, the world-famous American Bar or the Private Dining Rooms, the staff have years of experience and are accustomed to fulfilling all of the guests' special requests. The hotel's workout studio has the latest Cybex cardiovascular equipment and multi-gym system available for use and accommodation at The Stafford also includes membership to 'The Third Space', a state of the art fitness club, with swimming pool, located a ten-minute walk away. The elegant, traditional and quiet rooms each offer all the comforts of home, including an en suite marble bathroom with Floris toiletries, a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer.
