The rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition, and most have their own private balcony. The hotel has a restaurant which adjoins the lobby. Decorated in modern style, with a pale pastel colourscheme it has windows along two walls which command spectacular views of the surrounding Bavarian Alps. There is also a very cosy bar which is decorated with terracotta tiles and light wood furniture. In summer food and drinks are also served on the terrace. The hotel has a very small but welcoming lobby, decorated in cool creams and white. 2 km to the nearest station (berchtesgaden), 200 kms to the airport (franz josef strauss), 25 kms to the airport (salzburg w. a. mozart), 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop.
